Victor Cordell writes theater and opera criticism for online publication. A retired international banker and professor, he has been a life long theater and opera lover who has gravitated to live performance wherever he has lived, including New York, London, Hong Kong, Sydney, Houston, the Bay Area, and more. He is a member of the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle and the American Theatre Critics Association and is an adjudicator for Theatre Bay Area. He currently serves on the board of directors of Island City Opera (in Alameda), his third small opera company board appointment. He formerly sat on the board of Cutting Ball Theater.
