Theater Reviews – San Francisco and Beyond

About Us

About Us

NBC’s “Bay Area PROUD” news segment interviewed Theatrius in December 2018, and here is the three minute video:

Theatrius is devoted to covering plays of all kinds in the San Francisco, Bay Area. We have a particular interest in promoting diverse and progressive theater companies, both large and small. Our writers come from all walks of life and we are always on the lookout for theatrical events that have social, political, and artistic merit. Those interested in writing for us should send us a message below.

Our Millennial Notes indicates reviews by and for the new generation. Any article marked “Millennial Notes” is written by a young contributor who brings her/his own perspective to the world of the stage. Since theater has always confronted political and social questions, our younger writers will bring fresh eyes to classic and contemporary plays.
