Julie Dimas-Lockfeld, has been involved in the local theatre scene for several decades. A graduate of Stage Group Theatre’s full time acting program, Julie then joined the resident ensemble acting company – modeled after the Group Theatre of New York City – working closely for a decade with the late Wendell Phillips who himself was a member of the Actors Studio and associate member of the Group Theatre. She was a founding member of the Phoenix Arts Association Theatre where she directed and performed in numerous roles and more recently, Associate Artistic Director of the Shelton Theater. Over the years, Julie has taught acting classes at The Academy of Art University, Mark Monroe Studios and Shelton Studios.
