Theater Reviews—San Francisco and Beyond

Miriam Araya

Miriam Araya

July 9, 2017 Miriam Araya

Miriam Araya is a writer who is dedicated to social justice. She graduated from San Jose State University with her Masters In Justice Studies and is currently the Assistant Director of an ongoing collaborative performance called CSU Ferguson. Her plans are to return to school and obtain her PHD so she can be an educator at one of California’s many fine universities. When she takes a brief break from exclaiming systemic inequalities she enjoys spending time with her family and her puppy Princess. She hopes that her writing will aid theatergoers in thinking more critical about how productions are related to social justice. Enjoy her writing!
