Theater Reviews—San Francisco and Beyond

Emily Colby

Emily Colby

February 5, 2018 Emily Colby

Emily Colby is a soon to be graduate from UC Berkeley’s French Studies department. Originally based in the San Francisco, she began exploring her interests in the creative and performing arts at a young age, studying at various Bay Area institutions, such as Oberlin Dance Commons and the Sprindrift Players. In college, Emily learned she had a passion for studying theater from an academic lens as well as an intrigue for the traditions of French theater. She plans to use her Berkeley degree to move to France to pursue a Master program and continue to develop her understanding of the French culture and language. Emily has many creative passions in addition to theater, especially for ballet and fashion. In her spare time, you can often find her at a ballet studio, a museum, or reading a book on French history.
